The March 2015 community newsletter outlined a problem that has occurred with the use of footpaths in Hitch Copse and asking for the experience of residents who have been using the footpaths for a number of years. St Helen Without Parish Council is grateful to the residents who responded and will make use of the information provided where it is relevant to the legal position. The Parish Council is committed to working with Marcham Parish Council and others to find a way of resolving the issue. There have, however, been a number of acts of vandalism mainly by tearing down notices and signs. In the view of the Parish Council such actions are counterproductive and will hinder rather than help the resolution of the issue. The Parish Council would be grateful, therefore, if residents would exercise patience and not indulge in unacceptable acts of vandalism.
